Accessibility

Aalto2 is an accessible and easy-to-reach museum centre. The museum centre lift provides unobstructed access to all floors. Toilets for visitors with disabilities are located on the first floor. At Aalto2, you can also borrow a pram, wheelchair or a walking frame for the duration of your visit. There is a childcare space in the disabled toilet on the ground floor.

If you are visiting with a pram or a pushchair, the most accessible route is from the Museo 2 bus stop in Hannikaisenkatu (170 metres from the entrance to the museum centre on Alvar Aallon katu). If you arrive at the Yliopisto 1 bus stop in Keskussairaalantie, you can walk around the external stairway via Seminaarinkatu or Kramsunkatu, which is an approximately 400-metre walk.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in Aalto2. Our exhibitions also include objects and things that visitors can touch.
