MuseoFest

MuseoFest takes over Jyväskylä’s museums on Saturday 14 November 2026. 

With a MuseoFest wristband, you can enjoy the diverse programme at Aalto2 Museum Centre, Craft Museum of Finland, Jyväskylä Art Museum, Soihtu Exhibition Centre, Natural History Museum, Finnish Air Force Museum and Ratamo Printmaking and Photography Centre. From 11.00 am on Tuesday 10 November 2026, you can exchange your MuseoFest ticket for a wristband at any participating museum.

Early Bird tickets are available from 1 August to 31 August 2026!

KANAVUORI COLLECTION CENTRE GUIDED TOURS:

12.00 PM – 1.15 PM | Guided tour “Treasures of the Cave” in the University of Jyväskylä Open Science Centre (library and the university museum) collection facilities (1h 15 min) (please note! Limited number of seats, separate registration after buying the wristband)

1.30 PM – 2.15 PM | Guided tour by the Alvar Aalto Museum (45 min) (please note! Limited number of seats, separate registration after bying the wristband) PLEASE NOTE: THIS TOUR IS ALMOST FULL!

1.45 PM – 3.00 PM | Guided tour “Treasures of the Cave” in the University of Jyväskylä Open Science Centre (library and the university museum) collection facilities (1h 15 min) (please note! Limited number of seats, separate registration after bying the wristband)

3.15 PM – 4.00 PM | Guided tour by the Alvar Aalto Museum (45 min) (please note! Limited number of seats, separate registration after buying the wristband)
