Join us in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Alvar Aalto Society at Aalto2 Museum Centre in Jyväskylä.

The programme includes a keynote speech by the Director of the Alvar Aalto Museum Jukka Savolainen, titled “Riding the Wave: Inspired by the Aaltos’ Thinking Towards a Sustainable Future.” Visitors will also enjoy a brief overview of the Society’s history and the presentation of the first Alvar Aalto Society Thesis Award.

The celebration will feature a prize draw, with the grand prize being an authentic poster from an Alvar Aalto exhibition dating back to the 1960s. Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be available for the first 100 guests.

The event takes place in the connecting wing of the Aalto2 Museum Centre and admission is free of charge. The celebration is open to everyone. A warm welcome to celebrate this special milestone with us!
