Rally Finland – 75 Years of Gravel, Heroes, and a Travelling Circus, opening at Aalto2 on 13 June takes museum visitors out to the gravel roads, pine forests, and makeshift field parking that define rallying in Central Finland. It also brings to life the camaraderie of the volunteers who make the event possible, and explores how the rally has evolved – sparking excitement, debate, and passion in the hundreds of thousands who experience it each year.

Home of Rally – Share your rally memories with the Aalto2 Museum Centre

The Aalto2 Museum Centre is collecting photographs from the public throughout summer 2026, moments captured along rally routes, in service parks, amid the celebrations, during rally picnics, or any nostalgic and emotional memories connected to rallying.

Which special stage has stayed with you the most? What was the atmosphere like when watching the rally in 1975? Were you there when Juha Kankkunen won the Jyväskylä “suurajot” (=Rally) in 1991?

Submit your photos to the Aalto2 Museum Centre and take part in one of the most exciting exhibitions of the summer! Selected images will be shared on Aalto2’s social media channels, and some may also become part of the exhibition during the summer.

All contributors will be entered into a prize draw to win fantastic rewards!

Enter the prize draw and submit your photo!​

Each month, everyone who submits photographs will be entered into a prize draw to win rally experiences and product gifts from local partners (6 prizes in total). Prize draws will take place on 1 June 2026, 1 July 2026, 3 August 2026, 1 September 2026, 1 October 2026 and 2 November 2026. All entries received by 11:59 pm on the day before each draw will be included.

Campaign period: 11 May – 31 October 2026.

August:

Prize: The August prize is four tickets to see the Rally Finland – 75 Years of Gravel, Heroes, and a Travelling Circus exhibition at Aalto2 Museum Centre. The prize tickets also give you access to all the other exhibitions at Aalto2.

Anyone who has entered one of our previous prize draws will automatically be included in all subsequent draws.

Prize value: approx. €72

Prize draw: 1 September 2026.
