Yes, there is. You can connect to the museum centre’s Wi-Fi: Aalto2, and the password is Aalto2023.

Aalto2 is a unique meeting place for architecture, design, and cultural heritage in Jyväskylä, fulfilling Aalto’s vision of a shared forum for different art forms. The Aalto2 Museum Center connects two buildings designed by Alvar Aalto (both literally and conceptually), the Alvar Aalto Museum and the Central Finland Museum, into the Aalto2 Museum Center.

There are regular parking spaces near the main entrance, with step-free access to the museum center. There is one accessible parking spot near the doors. On the Alvar Aalto Museum side, there are several accessible parking spaces in front of the doors.

Did you know this is one of our most frequently asked questions? There is no Aalto1, as the Aalto2 Museum Center connects two entities and, quite literally, two museums through the connecting area that was completed in 2023. Together, we are more!
