Evening events at Aalto2 Museum Centre

Aalto2 Museum Centre offers an elegant setting for corporate and community evening events. The museum buildings designed by Alvar Aalto, combined with the modern connecting section, create a functional and stylish venue, ideal for celebrations, seminars, and networking events. In 2024, our spaces hosted hundreds of different events.

Large events

Evening events, such as cocktail receptions, can be held in the spacious and bright connecting section, featuring large windows, a mezzanine, and high-quality audio equipment. The high ceilings provide excellent acoustics for speeches and presentations. The space includes a large projector screen and a video projector to display presentations for all attendees. The sound system and microphones ensure clear audio throughout the venue and can also project sound into the Aalto2 Museum Centre’s lobby area if needed.

The staircase leading to the mezzanine is cushioned for seating, accommodating approximately 30 people, with additional Alvar Aalto-designed stools and chairs available upon request. The space can host over 200 guests for an event.

Catering

Event catering is provided by Aalto2 Café, offering both food and drink services. For large bookings, we recommend our pre-set menu packages. Catering stations can be arranged at multiple locations, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments while standing.

All our menus are lactose-free by default, and most can be adapted to vegan options. We also accommodate special dietary requirements, which should be communicated in advance along with the confirmed number of guests.

Looking for additional entertainment?

Evening events can be enhanced with cultural content, such as guided tours of the museum’s permanent exhibitions. Guests can also explore the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions independently for an additional fee.
