The museum is located at Alvar Aallon katu 7, 40600 Jyväskylä. The main entrance can be identified by the red Aalto2 banner. The group entrance can be also in agreement  from the the Alvar Aalto Museum doors. 

Parking:
There is a paid parking area near the museum centre (Alvar Aallon katu 9).
The disc-parking spaces can be found at the corner of Kramsunkatu and Keskussairaalantie (Kramsunkatu 10). From there there is access to the main entrance, either via the outside stairs or via Kramsunkatu.
Disabled parking and some disc-parking spaces can also be found in front of the main entrance. There are two disable-parking spaces in front of the Alvar Aalto Museum doors.
The parking space for charter buses can be found along Alvar Aallon katu.

Public transport:
You can also access Aalto2 using public transport in Jyväskylä. The bus stops closest to the museum centre are the stops Museo 2 in Hannikaisenkatu and Yliopisto 1 in Keskussairaalantie. 

Please note that studded shoes are not allowed inside the museum.
