A few times each year, Jyväskylä Sinfonia takes music out into the community, bringing live performances to different locations across Jyväskylä. During Sinfonia on the Move week, members of the orchestra perform in a variety of small ensembles in an array of unexpected venues. The aim is to bring music closer to people’s everyday lives by performing in places where you would not normally expect to encounter a symphony orchestra. The initiative also seeks to reach audiences who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience Jyväskylä Sinfonia.

You are welcome to enjoy the performance free of charge without purchasing museum admission. Normal admission fees apply to the exhibitions.
