DUNDU is a large illuminated puppet that has captivated audiences worldwide. Despite its size, it’s a gentle being that moves gracefully through crowds, sparking imagination and smiles. This glowing figure’s enchanting nature creates a sense of wonder and togetherness in both children and adults alike. The only thing bigger than this giant is its heart.

Hydrogen Pizza Oven

Location: Ruusupuisto Square

How delicious can hydrogen-powered pizza be?

The hydrogen pizza oven is making its first-ever appearance in Finland, coming straight from Paris. And the best part? You can earn your pizza by answering a hydrogen-themed quiz! A limited amount of samples will be available. Alongside the pizza oven, you can admire Toyota’s Mirai hydrogen car.

Green Hydrogen Power Exhibition

Location: Aalto2 Museum Centre
FRI-SAT the exhibition will be open until 10:30 PM, otherwise open from 11 AM to 6 PM.

The importance of renewable energy sources is steadily growing, and green hydrogen has emerged as a potential solution. However, its everyday applications are still a mystery to many. What exactly is green hydrogen, and what role could it play in our daily lives in Central Finland? This interactive exhibition provides answers to these questions—you can even try driving a hydrogen-powered RC car!

Hydrogen Rocket Workshop

Location: Ruusupuisto Square
FRI from 5:30-7 PM
The hydrogen rocket will be launched three times between 5:30 and 7:00 PM.

Did you know that hydrogen can launch a rocket?

In the hydrogen rocket workshop, you’ll witness the incredible power of hydrogen. First, we produce hydrogen through electrolysis: splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using electricity. We then collect the hydrogen in a bottle and introduce a flame to the bottle’s mouth. Due to hydrogen’s high energy content, it ignites, and the bottle shoots up like a rocket. Join us for the launch and learn all about hydrogen power!
