The Story of a House – Scale Model Workshop
- Aika 13.10.2026
- 13.10.2026
2.00 PM – 4.00 PM
What happens when houses are left on their own and people are away? How do windows peek inside a house? What do pillows do — do they go wild and start jumping on the beds? Does the rug curl itself up off the floor?
Join this playful workshop to imagine what kind of character the house you design might have. Is it shy and quiet, or a bold, fun loving character? What happens in your house when its residents are away?
Through a series of fun and imaginative questions, you will create a unique personality for your house. These questions help build a story, which each participant then uses as the basis for creating a scale model of their own house.
The workshop is offered on a continuous, drop in basis and is suitable for participants aged 7 years and older.
The workshop is included in the Aalto2 Museum Centre admission fee.
