Café Delights
Aalto2 Café offers a peaceful pause in the midst of a busy day, where you can take a moment to enjoy our selection of treats. Our menu includes carefully prepared coffees and speciality coffee drinks, as well as locally sourced loose-leaf teas from Teeleidi, celebrated for their rich and varied flavours. To complete your visit, our display counter is filled with fresh and delicious pastries ready to be savoured.
Are you organizing a family event?
Aalto2 offers a stunning setting for celebrations and events amidst Alvar Aalto’s iconic architecture. The museum center is the perfect venue for hosting memorable birthdays, graduation parties, memorial services, weddings, and various cocktail and private events — all effortlessly and elegantly.
Visiting with kids
In our café, you’ll find a high chair for the little ones, and we offer plenty of snacks suitable for our youngest guests. Be sure to ask about kids’ portions for lunch as well! A diaper-changing facility is available in the accessible restroom.
Responsible café
At Aalto2 Café, we prioritize environmental responsibility by carefully selecting the ingredients for our products. We prefer domestic and small business products whenever possible and strive to minimize production and plate waste. Our property also features separate waste collection to enable active recycling in our café.
We warmly welcome feedback and suggestions to help us continue improving our sustainability efforts.

Do you have a liquor license?
Yes! Our selection includes local beers and, of course, Alvar Aalto’s favorite drinks!

Can I find products suitable for my special diet at the café?
Yes! We always aim to accommodate different diets and dietary restrictions. If you can’t find a suitable product in our display, feel free to ask us for more options. If your diet is particularly challenging, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance. Please note that all of our products are prepared in the same kitchen.
Can I order products from the café for home delivery?
We are happy to sell takeaway items, but we do not offer home delivery. If you wish to place a larger order, please contact us for more details. We need several days’ notice to ensure we have enough ingredients for your order.
Can I host a confirmation party, graduation celebration, wedding, or memorial service at the museum centre?
Absolutely! The Aalto2 Museum Centre provides a beautiful setting, and Aalto2 Café offers delicious treats for all of life’s celebrations. Read more on the Family Celebrations page.
Where do the products at Aalto2 Café come from?
The café’s products come from our own kitchen. We occasionally use mainly domestic semi-finished products, but most of our items are made from scratch in our own kitchen.
Can I make a table reservation?
Yes! We actually recommend making a reservation, especially if your group is larger. If you wish, you can also order food for your group in advance if your schedule is very tight. Please contact us via email or phone.
